As the market evolved, flexibility and speed became essential. The production set-up in Rome was no longer sufficient, and the Tamasi family decided to relocate the business to Prato, Italy’s hub for knitwear and textiles. Access to spinning mills, dye houses, and specialised workshops allowed Effetto Maglia to grow and innovate—without losing its Roman roots.
